In the beginning, it was tough to remember all the characters. After a few chapters, it was easy to visualize everyone.
After reaching the Soldier Island and listening to the Gramophone voice, the thrill starts. One will wonder how all the people were connected and what was the motive of the murderer.
As I was immersed in the novel, when I got an SMS alert, I had a mild tremor.
Twice or thrice, I read the nursery rhyme as to how the next murder will happen. Later, I ignored it to enjoy the suspense. The cover depicting all the characters is good.
Just imagining myself in the Island and going to bed with a few dead bodies, is sending shivers down my spine.
In Wikipedia, it's mentioned that the Tamil movies, Nadu Iravil andAduthathu were based on this novel. Hope I watch them.
After finishing the novel, I had a slight fear of sleeping alone in my home.
